Ports to connect to on The Attendant:
HEATERS: H1- H5 on The Attendant or H1 – H2 on The Attendant Mini

These devices should only be powered directly from the power center or breaker panel. Do not run electricity through a relay as The Attendant will control the device to turn on/off by using the communication cable.

Dry Contact / Fireman Switch Connection

This model heat pump can be remotely controlled ON/OFF via a dry contact/firemans switch connection called CN36. It will be found inside the heat pump on a connection block with a jumper wire between the 2 contacts for CN36.

Please follow all of the manufacturer’s safety and installation instructions when attempting to connect this device to The Attendant! FAILURE TO DO SO COULD RESULT IN DEATH, SERIOUS INJURY, OR PROPERTY DAMAGE!

Use the Arctic-supplied AWG18 pigtail wire to replace the default jumper on the heat pump’s CN36 connector board. Use the other ends of the pigtail wire to connect to one of The Attendants Heater (H1-H5) ports.
