You can check which version your Attendant is running by opening the mobile app, tapping on the hamburger menu and selecting “Sites.” From there, tap on your site from the list and then select the “About” tab. The current version of your controller will be displayed like this:
You can also check the version directly on The Attendant’s local display by tapping on the Settings icon on the left side of the screen.
Updates are released in phases to ensure a reliable experience for all customers. Each release undergoes extensive testing before deployment and is then gradually made available over time while system performance is monitored. This approach helps us maintain stability and quickly address any unexpected issues should they arise.
Because updates are released gradually, the software version shown on your Attendant may not match the latest version listed on our website. This is expected and does not indicate a problem with your system.

- POOL-3232 Aquastar variable-speed pumps that arrive configured to operate in Pentair mode now work with your controller seamlessly — the controller recognises which mode the pump is in and switches it over on its own, where previously such a pump would not respond unless configured as a Pentair pump.
- POOL-3232 An Aquastar pump no longer surges to full speed for a moment each time it starts before settling to the speed it was asked for. This issue would only affect a small group of older pumps.
- POOL-3500 Water features show their custom icon again on the controller’s local UI; the icon stopped being show correctly in version 2.6.7.

- POOL-3106 The controller now supports multiple Flow Meters configured per flow/body of water.
- POOL-3416, POOL-3483 Filter pressure now appears on the Water Quality screen on the local UI display instead of always showing an empty value.
- POOL-3421 Salt cells that put a ground loop into the water now step aside for the chemistry probes — the cell stops generating for a short window on a repeating cycle so the pH and ORP probes get a clean reading, and the probes hold their last good value rather than publishing a distorted one while the cell is running. Two new fields on the Device Status screen show this as it happens: Salt Cell Ground Loop on each probe, and Holding Off For Probes on the cell. This applies only to cells that have been marked as causing a ground loop.
- POOL-3421 Acid, base, CO2, liquid chlorine and salt chlorination no longer dose off a probe reading that is being held through a ground loop, so a stale number cannot drive a dose; the probe is named as the reason on the Device Status screen, and a manual dose still goes ahead.
- POOL-3456, POOL-3477 Devices that support multiple relay configuration can now be wired across any mix of low-voltage and high-voltage relays when configuring it in Installer Mode.
- POOL-3470 Your pump now drops back to its original speed once the water reaches its set temperature after heating, instead of staying at the higher speed the heater had asked for [FS2].
- POOL-3442 Addressed an issue where the saved site configuration grew a little larger every time the controller loaded it, potentially causing loading issues after some time.
- POOL-3482 A sensor reading that settles at a steady value no longer gets ‘stuck’ showing an out-of-date value in the app and on the controller’s own display until the controller is restarted.
- POOL-3436 Installer Mode on the local UI display no longer freezes for several seconds each time a piece of equipment reports a reading — on a large site the screen was unresponsive about a fifth of the time, and it now redraws only the device that changed.
- POOL-3106 Initial implementation of the ability to target a scheduled Filter Turnover Rate, and the ability to target specific flow rates for Water Features. This feature is not currently configurable in the Mobile App and will be rolled out in stages over the coming months.

Your Attendant is now discovered automatically by Home Assistant on your home network, and once you approve the pairing request Home Assistant can read your pool’s live status and control your equipment — approve, review or revoke connections on the API Connections screen, which is only viewable to users that have access to edit the Site configuration.
- POOL-3393 Moov ClearSalt salt chlorinators are now supported (models MCS09, MCS16, MCS27 and MCS36).
- POOL-3413 Equipment that can be re-addressed over the wire — Modbus pumps, heaters, heat pumps, salt chlorinators, pressure sensors and chemistry probes — now shows a DeviceAddress field on the Device Status screen, so two devices that arrive set to the same address can be separated without swapping hardware. A future mobile app update will allow you to change the address yourself; until such time, please contact us to assist you.
- POOL-3425 Addressed an issue where some devices on secondary Attendants would not display the most up-to-date information on the Device Status screen.
- POOL-3406 Custom light colours on Jandy lights now play at the brightness you asked for, instead of always coming up dim next to the built-in colors.
- POOL-3406 Setting a custom color on more than one Jandy light zone at a time now changes every zone, instead of only the last one and leaving the others on whatever color they were holding.
- POOL-3426 Interlocked valve actuators now move together with the valve they are paired to, instead of being left in a stale position and sending water down the wrong path [FS2 only].
- POOL-3418 Your heater no longer starts hours earlier than it needs to for a scheduled ready-by time, which happened when the water temperature was read before the water had circulated long enough to settle.

- POOL-3265 Implemented Fault Mode. If the controller loses its main control board or cannot load a working configuration, it now shows a clear fault screen explaining what is wrong instead of restarting over and over, and it recovers on its own once the board answers again; on a Mini, every light except the connect light flashes red while in Fault Mode.
- POOL-3374 Pumps that need a dedicated relay to switch off — common on European relay-based multi-speed models — are now supported, using a relay assigned to the pump’s zero-speed setting during equipment setup. When configuring the multi-speed steps, the relay assigned to speed 0 will turn on — which will turn the pump off.
