What is the maximum length of RS485 cable I can connect to The Attendant?

We recommend that you use no more than 300ft (91m) of RS485 communication cable to connect your devices like pumps, heaters, salt cells, etc. The number can vary based on the brand and model of hardware as each device is differently manufactured. Longer lengths of wire may work but are not guaranteed.
