The ability to perform a Factory Reset is Available with all Attendant Mini controllers.
A Factory Reset will completely clear the configuration and return the unit to it’s original out-of-the-box state. This procedure should only be used under the guidance of Poolside Tech support, as all settings will be deleted and your device will need to be set up again.
Procedure
Please read all of the instructions before you start.
- First, power off the system. When the power is off, the Power LED will be off (and not green). You can do this a few different ways:
- Pressing the Power button once momentarily.
- Pressing and holding down the Power button for about 5 seconds.
- Unplugging The Attendant from the outlet or by turning off the breaker.

- Once the Power button LED is off, hold down the Reset button and press the Power button once momentarily to turn the controller on (or turn on the breaker). Do not release the Reset button.

- Hold the Reset button for approximately 45 seconds – just until the Power button LED turns off.
- Once the Power button LED has turned off, release the Reset button and wait. The controller is performing the Factory Reset.
- The Factory Reset process itself takes roughly 2 minutes.
- You will see the “Service” button LED blink red for about 30 seconds then,
- You will see the “Connect” button LED remain solid red.
- After this time has passed, please contact us for assistance in restoring any previous configuration, or use the mobile app to configure a new site.
