Connections

Moov AI pumps may be connected to the Attendant using the communication cable provided with the pump. The communication cable must be attached to the drive using the connector slot as pictured below:

Connect the Green wire from the pump communication cable to the D+ pin on the Attendant Bus Port

Connect the Brown wire from the pump communication cable to the D- pin on the Attendant Bus port

Configuration

Screen/Menu Navigation

Press and hold the Up and Down buttons together for 3 seconds to enter parameter configuration mode.

Press and hold the Up and Down buttons together for 3 seconds to move to the next parameter.

Leave the pump for 10 seconds to save and exit parameter setting mode

Disable Priming

Poolside recommend that the default priming mode of the pump is disabled and priming is configured directly in the Attendant configuration. To do this please follow the procedure below:

Press and hold the Up and Down buttons together for 3 seconds to enter parameter configuration mode.

You will see the screen show parameter 1. Continue to press and hold the Up and Down buttons together for 3 seconds to move to the next parameter. Until you get to parameter 6.

Use the Up or Down buttons to set the value to 0.

Set Pump Address

If you are planning to operate multiple Moov pumps on a single Attendant Bus port you will need to make sure that each pump has been assigned a unique RS-485 address. The default address is 170, however addresses between 160 and 190 may be assigned. To change your pumps address follow the procedure below:

Press and hold the Up and Down buttons together for 3 seconds to enter parameter configuration mode.

You will see the screen show parameter 1. Continue to press and hold the Up and Down buttons together for 3 seconds to move to the next parameter. Until you get to parameter 12.

Use the Up or Down buttons to set the value to your new desired address.

Moov AI pumps can be configured in the standard RPM control mode where the pump is operating at a pre-determined speed or GPM control mode where the pump is configured to maintain a set flow rate:
