Speck pumps are compatible with both Century VGreen and Nidec Neptune drives. To install and configure the pump, follow the installation guide from the links below that corresponds to the drive used. Check the manufacturer’s label on the drive to identify the correct guide, and select the appropriate link.
Speck pumps using a Gecko Controls Universal Automation Adaptor
If your pump has one installed, you must disconnect and remove the adaptor board before connecting the pump to The Attendant.
This board (pictured below) is not needed when using The Attendant.
The procedure to disconnect this board is as follows:
- Disconnect all power to the pump.
- Open the display cover using the appropriate tools.
- Disconnect the RS485 cabling from the Gecko Controls board by loosening the small screws on the blue terminal block.
- Remove the single Philips screw
- Lift the board straight up and away from the main pump control board
- Replace the blue terminal block onto the main pump control board
- Reconnect the RS485 cabling to the blue terminal block
- Connect the display cover back onto the pump
- Turn on the power to the pump
