Once your pH and ORP probes are physically installed in the FLOW CELL and connected to the chemistry board, the next step is to configure them in The Attendant App. This process ensures that your system can properly read, display, and react to changes in water chemistry. The steps below will walk you through activating the sensors, setting your targets, and confirming everything is working correctly.
Step 1: Enter Installer Mode
- Open The Attendant App and tap the hamburger menu (☰).
- Go to Maintenance and select Installer Mode.
- Choose your entry method and tap Enter Installer Mode.
Step 2: Add pH and ORP Sensor Devices
- In Installer Mode, tap Devices.
- Tap the + button to add a new device.
- Select pH Probe (or ORP Probe) from the list.
- Choose the correct Port Type and Port Number.
- Tap APPLY, then tap SAVE.
Step 3: Assign Probes to a Flow
- Go to the Flows tab.
- Choose the flow where your probes are installed.
- Tap Edit, then use the + icon at the sensor location.
- Select your pH and ORP probe devices.
- Tap APPLY, then SAVE to confirm.
Step 4: Exit Installer Mode
- Tap the back arrow (<) to leave Installer Mode.
- When prompted, choose whether to schedule now or later.
- Confirm by tapping Exit Installer Mode.
Step 5: Set Chemistry Dosing Tables
- From the Poolside App home screen, tap the chemistry beaker icon under the body of water you want to configure.
- This opens your chemistry settings.

- In the chemistry settings menu, you can:
- Adjust your target levels.
- Enable or disable alerts.
- Set the delay before an alert sends a notification.
- Configure high and low alarm limits.
